Prompt: Talk about a time when you had to write a poem, whether it was for an assignment, event, or special occasion. What was the writing process like for you, and were you proud of the finished product?

One time I had to write a poem was for an English assignment at school. At first, it was hard to come up with ideas, but I started thinking about the topic and putting my thoughts into words. I had to make a few changes to help the poem flow better. In the end, I was proud of my finished product because I put effort into it and completed the assignment. Today in class we read a poem and analyzed some of it. I learned how to break down and understand poems.
